This Mother's Day, we honor and celebrate traditional moms, while also paying homage to the mom figures and influential women who make up our tribe and community, better known as “our village”. This one is for the women who have played a major hand in our childhood into adulthood, helped make motherhood a little easier, fully stepped up into the mom role or those who are super moms due to circumstances beyond their control.
We honor the beauty of the maternal spirit that not only biological mothers possess, but many women within our tribe embody.
They include our mothers, wives, aunts, grandmothers, god-moms, sisters, best friends, adopted moms, family friends, mentors, step-moms, single moms and all others in between. These phenomenal women have helped shape and nurture us, our children and family in such an impactful and dynamic way. Without their unconditional love, mentorship, guidance and support over the years, many of us wouldn’t be as amazing, diverse, selfless, wise and strong as we are today!
